Our team of support workers are qualified and certified in accordance with all statutory regulations governing this sector. Carer’s Network strives for service excellence in supporting some of the most vulnerable in our community, and consequently seeks to employ committed, attentive, and compassionate staff to care for you and your loved ones.
Our staff are handpicked by our team of in-house recruitment consultants to ensure that they are best suited to assisting you, or your family members, for your peace of mind. Carer’s Network is sensitive to the special needs of our clients and takes on board all cultural and linguistic differences and will, when possible, recruit to accommodate our clients specific requirements such as preferred language or cultural fit.
Our staff are fully screened and complete mandatory police checks and working with children checks where appropriate. Staff are required to undertake a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) as a minimum. Many have Certificate IV qualifications in ageing support or disability. Our health professionals are qualified and registered.
Our staff are regularly provided with additional training and professional development opportunities for the safety of both staff and clients. Carer’s Network equip our staff with training that is specific to the needs of the people they may be working alongside and to ensure that they are compliant with all statutory regulations that govern the sector. Additionally, all staff undertake training in First Aid and CPR, manual handling, and fire safety training at regular intervals.
